In a 2020 study done by The Ohio State University, respondents admitted that financial concerns had caused them to seriously consider making the decision to transfer (12%) or drop out of school (33%).

80% of participants have lost a significant amount of money to debt, increased loan rates, and missed investment opportunities simply because no one ever taught them about money.
